Costillas al horno de A Sweet Pea chef



Costillas al horno 

Yo hago el triple  de cantidades para la salsa y no las cuezo, las hago directamente en el horno


Ingredientes
  • 1 rack of pork baby back ribs
For the sauce: Triplicar las cantidades para una mayor cantidad de costillas
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sweet BBQ sauce preferably with honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients for the sauce and set aside.
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and add ribs. Simmer ribs, covered, for 40 minutes. Remove ribs from water and place on baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Coat the ribs with barbecue sauce. Place ribs under oven broiler for 8-10 minutes, until sauce starts to bubble and caramelize. Feel free to grill these ribs if you'd like, but the sauce doesn't stay on them as well as in the broiler.
    Yo mezclo todos los ingredientes y pongo las costillas en una bolsa de plastico con la salsa  y las dejo toda la noche.
    Al dia siguiente las pongo en una bandeja de horno cubiertas con la salsa resultante y tapadas al final las destapo.
